Following the New Zealand Government’s announcement to move the COVID-19 Alert Level to 4 from Wednesday 25th March – 11:59pm, Setpoint Solutions have implemented a number of key changes to the way we will conduct our business

Setpoint Solutions is an Essential Services Support Agency

These key changes are:

 All Setpoint team members are working from home. They are all contactable via email & mobile to take project instructions, assist with technical advice, organize product sales and provide remote servicing.

 All Setpoint offices will be closed during the lockdown period however for the supply / collection of parts and products to maintain the safe operation of essential services premises, someone from the team will be available to assist at our offices. This will require you to pre-arrange the collection of the goods with one of our Branch Managers or, depending on size and weight, we can courier. Details below

 Setpoint has good stocks of many parts and products and we continue to place orders with our key suppliers to maintain these stocks. A couple of suppliers in Europe have had to halt all operations so this will have an impact on their ability to fulfill our orders. Airfreight around the world is reducing rapidly and we are advised delays of up to 7-10 days beyond the normal lead-times are now common.

 Setpoint will continue to assist all customers with automation queries remotely. We will not attend site unless your site is a Government Approved Essential Services site. To arrange this please make contact with our automation teams via the usual methods. A manager will need to approve the site visit and all H & S protocols remain in place, especially sanitation and social distancing requirements.

 If any Setpoint Site visit, to a Government Approved Essential Services site is designated a Covid-19 positive site then we will need to evaluate the site risks and determine the best way we can assist. This will be assessed by our H & S team. Each site must be evaluated on a case by case basis

 Projects currently underway that can continue to be worked on remotely, will continue as normal

 Projects in the planning stage will also continue to be worked on remotely

 Projects that required us to be on site will cease until the lockdown is lifted.

As the Lock down continues we may need to review our processes, work methods and responses. Please stay in contact with our team and continue to update us at the earliest should your requirements from us change too
